I created Alzheimer’s Group Resources because my mother is afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease. My wife and I could not locate enough pertinent information designed specifically for Alzheimer’s caregivers, other than the information provided by the Alzheimer’s Association. Most of all, we noticed a need for caregivers to “support” one another.
We will continue to build the site with the issues from counseling to financial planning. It’s time to “care for the caregivers.”

I work with Frank Broyles (former Arkansas Athletic Director and College Football Icon) who had a book done called the Alzheimer’s Caregivers Playbook. His wife died from Alzheimer’s and he found the same thing that you and your wife found…no help for caregivers.
